FAQs
Parking:

Look to the provided map for guidance on parking and plan for some walking if you arrive at peak times.

171 has two driveways, the lower one is reserved for drop offs and plant loading after purchase.

Driveways of 169 and 167 Longview Heights are also open for parking during the sale.

If able, consider carpooling with those you know who are attending the sale.

This is a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of not only Roxanne’s home and gardens but those of her surrounding neighbors.
Weather:

We will be holding the sale RAIN or SHINE.

In the event of Severe Weather, check the Facebook page for updates.
Pricing:

We will be pricing our plants when setting up the sale on Friday (it’s hard to do before we have them all in one place).

At the moment we are anticipating prices generally running $3–$8, with a majority in the $4–$6 range.

There will be a few plants individually marked higher.
Payment:

Cash or check only, no cards.

If paying by check, please provide ID.
Sale Location, Behind the House:

It is supposed to be HOT in the days leading up to the sale. In order to keep up with watering (1,500+ pots!) we’ll be setting up the sale in the shade on Roxanne’s decks behind the house.

Trays, boxes and totes:

We would REALLY love it if you were able to bring your own trays, boxes, totes to carry away your plant purchases, we just can’t provide that number of trays to everyone.

Lindsey highly recommends the cardboard produce boxes from Aldi for this, very sturdy!

Amazon boxes are great too!

If you have any trays to spare and want to share, PLEASE drop them off ahead of time or bring them with you.

We will have the plant info printed and displayed with the plants to aid in shopping.

Recycling is good!
We accept old pots, trays and plant tags from retailers. We put them to work potting up plants for our sale!
About Us
Roxanne Malé-Brune and Lindsey Siegrist met as trainee Master Gardeners in the winter of 2008 and have been enabling each other to hoard plants ever since. They have have hosted a Deer Resistant Plant Sale in one form or another every spring since 2014.
